Croatia will soon launch a new 20 million euros subsidy scheme to support citizens purchasing energy-efficient vehicles, it was announced at the closing conference of the “Driving Economically” (Vozimo EKOnomično) project, organized by the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund.
According to the Fund’s Director, Luka Balen, around 63 million euros in national funding has been allocated in recent years for the purchase of more than 11,000 energy-efficient vehicles.
The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Green Transition said that the subsidies not only encourage the purchase of electric vehicles but also support the development of the market and charging infrastructure.
